August 2016: Dr. Malka presented a paper at the international ExoticsCon conference in Portland, OR. Dr. Malka described a bone infection in a wild ring-bill gull and a swan caused by a new bacteria.

 

August 2016: Dr Malka volunteered his time and expertise and lead a group of students and veterinarian to the beautiful island of Zanzibar, where they operated a Sea-Turtle Clinic as part of the our clinics support in RVWC conservation efforts.

 

January 2016: Dr. Malka lead a group of students and veterinarian to the beautiful and remote area of Samburu, Kenya where they operated a spay/neuter and vaccine clinic as part of the our clinics support in RVWC conservation efforts.

 

November-December 2015: Dr. Malka was in Kenya and Zanzibar as part of RVWC project.

 

September 2015: Dr. Malka shared his travel experiences and stories from Africa at the monthly meeting of The Long Island Parrot Society.

 

August 2015: Dr. Malka presented a paper at the international ExoticsCon conference in San Antonio, Tx. It was about the diagnosis and treatment of a round cell tumor in the chest of Kiwi, an aging male green cheek conure.
